What a gem of a place. Wonderful warm, welcoming and peaceful garden setting a shot walk from the beach. Lots of space for entertaining, we absolutely loved the deck and ate all our meals there listening to the birds and enjoying the breezes. It’s a very well equipped kitchen. All the bathroom parts worked perfectly and a range of comfortable beds. We enjoyed being able to lounge in the tv room watching dvds that were provided while our teenage kids were able to use the kitchen area.

From the moment we stepped in this delightful well appointed 3 bedroom 2 bathroom fun cottage it captured us with everywhere we looked ..Sitting on the deck or the inside the spaces so much room yet made everyone connected throughout ..A short stroll to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world ..we loved our stay and will recomend to anyone wanting to explore the beautiful Fleurieu Ruth

We enjoyed our stay in this delightful beach cottage. Light, airy, tasteful decor, it was equipped with everything we needed. The deck provided a spacious outdoor area. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the beautiful Carrickalinga beach.

Linga Longa was the perfect place for us to stay for a beach holiday with our adult children and our dog. It is really comfortable with easy inside/outside access to a beautiful deck, a great kitchen and lovely garden. We would love to stay again.

After 6 nights my family and dogs definitely wanted to Linga Longa! such a lovely place, everything you need is there and only a couple of minutes to walk to the beach. Being so close to the beach and to be sitting on the porch surrounded by all the lovely trees, lovely vibe, only tiny negative was with 5 adults and 1 toddler was a bit cosy on the lounge, but we are a close family :-) everything you need for cooking, games, videos, will definitely be going back to linger longer :-)

We had a great weekend at Linga Longa. The house is well laid out and had everything we needed. Being able to separate out the kids at one end to the living room meant we could have some space. Two bathrooms and a fantastic deck, multiple TVs, and a great location - 2 blocks from the beach. Will stay again!

This is our 3rd stay at Linga Longa and we love it. Our little Jack Russell loves the lovely shady garden filled with banksia and protea. The house is the perfect unpretentious beach shack with all the essentials needed for a beach holiday. A lovely deck to laze on and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We will definitely be back!

Relax in Comfort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Linga Longa despite the weather! The house is very well appointed with everything you need to relax in comfort. Being keen chefs, we were very happy with all the equipment provided in the kitchen, the little extras like the Nespresso coffee machine and Sodastream, and reverse cycle heating when our summer escape turned into a "winter" escape in November! Beds and pillows were comfortable, showers and water hot and plentiful, a very enjoyable week.

This property is a gem! A wonderfully appointed and immaculately clean space that was presented so beautifully we didn't want to leave! The attention to detail was exceptional with so many little extras provided it was like walking into our own holiday home. Only a 5 minute walk to the most magnificent beach in SA (well that's my opinion anyway) and a 5 min drive to everything you need in Normanville including fab coffee! Highly recommend.

Really lovely family holiday house. There is everything you need there. The house is beautifully maintained and clean. The gardens are very nice. Lots of space for cars under the shade. Outdoor area and BBQ is perfect for summer evenings or breakfast in the morning.

Inside excellent, granny flat terrible

We stayed for 3 nights and found the inside to be wonderful, clean and comfortable. However, the granny flat had obviously not been cleaned for a very long time. The door had cobwebs and there was a strong musty smell. We didn’t want to sit on the couch or bed, let alone sleep in it. Unfortunately we had enough people that 2 had to sleep there and according to them the beds were almost unusable. It is a real shame as the rest of the house is lovely. Also, upon arrival at night, it was pitch black with gates closed and an overgrown sign so a real struggle to even find the property. Then there was no power so we had to hunt around in the dark for the power box. The water and hot water was also turned off to the granny flat. This was not a very welcoming start and would have been much nicer with the gates being open, a light on to indicate where the property is and water/power on. Either that or detailed instructions provided before arriving. I was just glad it wasn’t raining and it wasn’t the couple with babies having to do it. I struggled to rate this property due to the differing standards between outside and inside.

This house and the studio was good for the cost. Would recommend. Am a little disappointed that they don't clear council rubbish bins now often than the weekly collection as they were full to the top upon arrival so we had to leave all our rubbish in garbage bags around the bins.

Good renovations done to property, great alfeco area and nice open area in kitchen dinning area. Let down was the state of the oven and BBQ neither of these had been cleaned in a long time and were basically unuseable due to gease build up. Overall just lack that sparkle of cleanliness to rate higher

Our family have just returned from a beautiful four night holiday at Linga Longa and we all certainly would have liked to have lingered longer! I have never seen a holiday home that was as clean and as well stocked with everything you would need for a holiday. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept like logs while we were away. We loved that we could bring our fur babies and they certainly were missing the place when we got home. The granny flat out the back was perfect for the older teenagers and gave them the space they need. Thanks also to Blake for his attendance at the property promptly when we couldn't get the air conditioner to work. You did a great job sorting it out. We will definitely return again another time. Jill, Phil, Dan, Maddie, Cahli Jayce and Zayd oh and Molly and Kazi.

Lovely modernised 3 bedroom home with every convenience accompanied by a fully self contained granny flat shed that sleeps 4 and has a lounge and with 2 lounges a fully stocked functional kitchen with fridge microwave tv and a bathroom with toilet . All up there are 3 full bathrooms. The large granny flat area is great for kids to hang out or the guys to watch the footy up loud with a few beers. It really is one of the best we’ve stayed in. Very private with 2 family’s but 3 would of fit fine. I could write for ever but in short exceeded every expectation well done to the owner they have thought of everything and all is presented tastefully and immaculately

We loved this place. Very comfortable and quite cute. Has all you need in the kitchen. Great selection of DVDs. 5 minute walk from the beach. Leafy green private garden. One drawback - we couldn't open windows - I think we had been provided with an old key for window locks.
