Listen, see and catch the ocean breeze from this fully modernised retro beach house, prime location just a short 2 minute flat walk from the magnificent white sands and dog friendly Carrickalinga Beach situated at the Gold Coast Drive End.

Enjoy spectacular sunsets, a palette of colours, red, orange and pink streaked across the evening sky whilst enjoying a meal or glass of wine on the Front Deck complete with a covered roof, Weber BBQ and 8 seat outdoor table for easy alfresco entertaining.

Upstairs you will find an open plan living area, with a modern well-appointed kitchen featuring European appliances including a coffee machine .There are 2 bedrooms, (1 Queen and 1 Double) both offering lovely views of the ocean and rolling hills and ceiling fans. Entertain and dine with a 8 person dining setting and ample bench space, moving to the lounge that offers a flat-screen TV with a DVD player and a 5-seat lounge suite. For your comfort a wood fire upstairs provides cozy warmth in winter and ceiling fans and a split-system air conditioner to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter - or open the windows and enjoy the refreshing sea breezes that flow through the house.
There is also a bathroom with Shower, toilet and washing machine.

Downstairs you will find another 2 bedrooms (1 Queen and 2 x Bunk Beds) with pedestal fans. For added convenience there is also a kitchenette with toaster, kettle and bar fridge.
The second open plan living/ dining area is complete with a comfy large 6-8 seater sofa, 2 Bean Bags, flat screen TV, DVD player and tape deck.
There is also a large 6 person dining setting.
There is also a bathroom with Shower, toilet and ironing board and iron.

There is an External Staircase to access both upper and lower levels.

A large rear deck offers additional space for gatherings while watching the kids and pets play in the fully fenced lawned yard including a dog run.
Light the Chiminea and bring out the marshmallows in the cooler months whilst watching the bright country stars of Carrickalinga’s Dark Sky, 1 of only 200 certified around the World.

Championship Golf Course nearby with Restaurant, supermarkets eateries and markets in nearby Normanville and Yankalilla are only a few minutes away by car.
Both the new multimillion Normanville Surf Club and Kiosk also Aqua Blue Restaurant and Forktree Brewing are also on your doorstep for fabulous food and views over the ocean, hills and headland.

Please note the wood combustion heater must be cleaned out if used and supply your own small pieces of wood, please be mindful of smoke detectors located throughout the property and the fires must be allowed to burn out naturally .

Bedding: All duvets and duvet covers are provided, all mattress protectors are provided, all pillows are provided.
Linen: Sheets and towels are not provided, guests must supply their own, OR Guests can hire linen packages through our Ray White Normanville office. (Prior ordering is essential)

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed staying at SeaHaven. Spacious, lovely house with a beautiful overlooking the river mouth, dunes and coast. Loved going to the beach on the short walk along the river for our old dog but the beach stair access is along really close. The lawn was lovely and green and the back yard was perfect for the dogs. Nice to have downstairs living separate where the teenagers enjoyed having a bit of space themselves.

We booked Seahaven online, not having seen it. We had it for a week and exceeded our expectations. The bottom floor, separate access from the top of the house has a spacious comfortable living space, dining area ,small fridge, coffee and toast making facilities. A good queen bedroom, 2 single beds and plenty of standard fans, although the weather hot it was still very comfortable downstairs. Good sized bathroom. It was a great place to rest in between my daughters wedding near there, Will was always checking in. I did have to ring real estate the day we arrived to come open upstairs doors as it was hard to open with keys supplied, they came straight out to assist us which was great.

A wonderful home for extended family and/or friends to relax together. Separate living spaces if needed, but large enough for 8 people plus dogs to hang out together. A lovely, large backyard is dog friendly and a short walk to a dog-friendly beach. The house and kitchen in particular are very well-appointed, making self-catering a breeze.

Beautiful Location, a stones throw from the local shopping district full of coffee shops, a well stocked grocery store, and of course the pub. Easy walk to one of the best beaches in SA. The house would easily suit large groups without feeling like your crowded. A beautiful big backyard and deck equally nice spot on the balcony to watch the sunset. Beautifully presented with beach themed décor on point. A well stocked kitchen with all appliances that you would need to cook up a holiday feast.

This home is well placed, just minutes from the beach and with sea views . The beach is beautiful better than at other locations nearby and the sunsets were lovely. Beds were comfy and living spaces were more spacious than expected. Plenty of off street parking and the balcony BBQ was easy to use. Our family loved our 4 nights at this location.

This house is perfect for people travelling with more than one family. Both upstairs and downstairs is beautiful and the outside areas are relaxing and spacious. A great location and perfect holiday with the family dog. Big green flush flat yard and so close to the beautiful beach. The house is on two split levels with the stairs on the outside. Comfortable beds, all amenities. The space felt quite homely.

Pro’s - secure yard for dog, well supplied kitchen equipment, split air con works well, clean, no dog smell or hair, nice deck and big yard, beds comfy Con’s - broken flue on pot-belly so wood burns out very fast, doggy door fly screen only downstairs, very little view of ocean, partial view between houses of the creek outlet, real estate agents instructions a bit heavy handed (rearrange curtains, clean out fireplace etc before leaving)

Will's place is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea and is a 3 minute walk from a lovely beach. The house is stylish and exactly as described in the information and in the pictures. The kitchen is very well equipped for a group of 8. There are 2 very big living spaces. As stated the two floors are connected by an outside staircase which was not a problem for us. Guests should be aware that the house is managed by a commercial company so contact and key collection is through an agent. As is now stated on the Airbnb site bed linen is not included in the price. All 6 of us who shared the house would thoroughly recommend it to a family or a group of adults.

We spent a great week at Seahaven with our four children. Fantastic view from balcony over the creek and sand dunes down to the beach. Could hardly be more idyllic; the perfect spot for evening dinner and drinks watching the sun disappear. House was very clean, comfortable and well-presented. The aircon was very effective, and the house had everything we needed. It worked well for us (and them !) having the two older kids in the downstairs area. Very short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back.

A lovely little unit in Carrickalinga

The internal layout is a little odd: the upper and lower stories are connected only by an *external* flight of stairs, so going to the other section requires an umbrella if the weather is wet. But the upper level contains the kitchen facilities and most of the bedrooms, so we found ourselves spending most of our time there. And if you're travelling with kids, you may *prefer* a bit of isolation! The upper storey has a balcony with a gorgeous view, and a powerful barbecue. (Pro-tip: fill the tank before you use it. We thought we had enough, but it burned through the tank before we'd finished the last few kebabs.) The kitchen has an eclectic collection of pots and pans, and a very helpful array of basic ingredients. All in all, this was an excellent weekend getaway, and we'll be looking at it again on our next trip down the Fleurieu Peninsula!

We had a fantastic one night stay although should have booked for another two as there is so much to see and do in the area. SeaHaven is homely and very well presented with modern furnishings, kitchen and bathrooms complimented by a lovely sea view from the top bedrooms and balcony. A three minute stroll to the superb beach and pristine water was an added bonus. Well definitely be back
